The Cadaverous Planets
[Mythos of D.L. Siluk]

Graphic, Book Cover drawing by Clark Ashton Smith, the original [one of a kind] CAS drawing, purchased by Tom Strausky, about, l980 from G. de La Ree, who purchased it through the estate; sold to Dennis L. Siluk 5/2004; a name was not given to the picture (nor was it known to have one), so the author asked Tom to give it one, and he said: “Nightmare,” and so it has been named, and will be called that accordingly. Ownership of the picture, belong to Dennis L. Siluk; given permission to the Eldritch Dark to display it on their site. Copyright of “Nightmare,” by Dennis L. Siluk, 2004

For: Rosa [my wife]

Special thanks goes to Boyd Pearson, Editor and owner of ‘The Eldritch Dark,’ internet magazine, who has given support to my cadaverous, macabre poetry, and illustrations; to Phil Ellis for his assistance in this same area in the past [a great poet and friend], to Ben Szumskyj, for his support with his magazine SSWFT, and my short stories, and reviews; to Matt James for putting many of the non macabre poems on his worldwide website, also my articles and short stories. I do believe in time, people will look back at these individuals, and name them the 21st Centuries Arkham House Group.

Back picture: on the book is of the author and his son Cody, 1/13/01, at Meteor Crater, Arizona, USA, 5:10 PM. 48,000 BC, 570 deep, 3 miles around, 1 mile wide.
